In game 44 out of 82 the Detroit Pistons will be up against the Washington Wizards who have lost their last three games. However, for the Pistons they are coming off back to back road wins against the loaded Boston Celtics and the young Atlanta Hawks. This is the Pistons last game on the three game road trip before they are home for the next four games. With that said it would be big for the Pistons to get out of Washington with a victory today.
Bruce Brown is available for Detroit, but as expected Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Khyri Thomas, and Blake Griffin are OUT. As for Washington young star Rui Hachimura will be out along with Moritz Wagner.
Therefore Washington will be without one of their starters and a key player off the bench in Wagner. With less than half a season to go Detroit is still only three games out of a playoff spot, and with a win this afternoon they have a chance to gain another game on the Brooklyn Nets.
